How did Las Vegas become a sports mecca? This journey didn’t happen overnight. Life in Vegas has always been about world-class dining, nightlife, and entertainment. However, the city has long hosted crowning championships for bull riding, rodeo, boxing, MMA, and Nascar. Now, thanks to the upstart Golden Knights and all-in Las Vegas Aces, as well as the soon-to-be relocated Las Vegas Raiders and newly debuted Las Vegas Lights, the city has every major sport–and sporting event–covered.

As locals and visitors both know, Vegas has always served as a sporting hub for viewing–and betting on–sports. However, in the past decade, much has changed. Vegas sports are on the rise.

New teams were assembled. New stadiums built, and new fans earned. In their inaugural year, the Las Vegas Golden Knights came within a few games shy of parading a Stanley Cup down Las Vegas Boulevard. In 2020, the Las Vegas Raiders will lace up and run across a field at their new $1.8 billion dollar home. And 2019 will mark the beginning of baseball at the new, 10,000-seat stadium in Summerlin, where AAA baseball will be played.

From the PGA to the WNBA, you can find and watch it here–at the sports mecca known as Las Vegas.

Don’t believe us, just ask any one of the sporting legends who call Vegas home. Mayweather. Agassi. Harper. The roster only goes on, and the games will only continue.

And now, Vegas is so much more than the fight and entertainment capital. So catch some March Madness, watch stock cars zip by at a Nascar Cup Series event, or experience the pinnacle of professional bull riding, rodeo, and rugby. If you’re living at the residences at One Las Vegas, just South of the strip, you have no shortage of championship caliber events to attend. It’s just a short drive from T-Mobile Arena and minutes away from the future home of the Las Vegas Raiders.
