When It Comes to Romance, All Things are Possible in Las Vegas

For some, the ultimate romantic gesture might be a marriage proposal on ice at a hockey arena or a lingering kiss in front of dancing fountains at twilight. While another’s heart might melt over a candlelit dinner atop the Eiffel Tower or snuggling in a gondola while gliding down the canals of Venice.

Fortunately, when it comes to romance, all things are possible in Las Vegas!  Here are a few suggestions for Valentine’s Day or a celebration of love any day of the year!

Swoon-Worthy Dining

Every woman gets a rose at Hugo’s Cellar at downtown Las Vegas’ Four Queens. This cozy, brick-bedecked spot tucked below street-level charms with comfortable old-Vegas touches. From experienced bartenders who prepare drinks that match your mood to waiters who custom prepare your salad tableside, Hugo’s is elegant dining with exquisite service. For the main course, delight in such sumptuous selections as Beef Wellington or Duckling Anise, flambeed tableside. For dessert, try the tableside Cherries Jubilee or Bananas Foster. Top off the evening with chocolate-dipped strawberries, apricots and figs.

At Town Square on S. Las Vegas Blvd. romance and a touch of Tuscany is found at Brio Tuscan Grille.

featuring wood-grilled and oven-roasted steaks, chops, seafood, house-made pasta specialties and flatbreads prepared in an authentic Italian wood-burning oven. The stunning architecture and white table cloths enhance the casual atmosphere. Start the evening with a cocktail on the patio.

For a truly romantic experience, reserve one of the private lagoon cabanas at Costa di Mare Wynn. While cherishing the intimate setting, indulge in Chef Mark LoRusso’s authentic Italian coastal cuisine with seasonal fish and shellfish flown in daily from Italy including Venetian soft-shell moleche, red shrimp from Naples and sea urchin from Sicily. After dinner, take delight in sharing one of Costa di Mare’s luscious desserts like torta caprese – chocolate almond cake with warm chocolate ganache, fresh raspberries, biscotti and cream gelato.

When love makes you feel like you are on top of the world, take your sweetheart to Top of the World restaurant at The STRAT for a romantic meal 800 feet above the Las Vegas Strip.  This divinely romantic spot offers not only re-imagined seafood and prime-cut steak classics, it revolves 360 degrees every 80 minutes for breathtaking views of the glittering Las Vegas Strip below

Executive Chef Julian Serrano’s menu at Picasso is inspired by the regional cuisine of France and Spain, where Pablo Picasso spent much of his life. Big (Fun) Romantic Gesture

Poets have lauded it; movies have extolled its glories, and Instagram explodes with visions of amorous tales beneath its splendor. There’s no more romantic place on earth than the Eiffel Tower. In Las Vegas the famous landmark is at Paris Las Vegas. A little known fact: if you’re planning to pop the question, there’s a semi-private viewpoint reserved exclusively for proposals. Not quite ready to take the marriage plunge or just looking to re-ignite the romance, the Eiffel Tower is still the place. At Paris Las Vegas, a glass elevator takes you up 460 feet to an observation deck, where you’ll have 360-degree views of the Strip and beyond.

Sip champagne while being serenaded in a gondola as it glides down the Grand Canal of Venice at The Venetian Resort Hotel Casino. Choose from indoor or outdoor gondola rides. And, you can even say “I Do” in one of the romantic white wedding gondolas.

If you want the entire Strip and the surrounding mountains as a romantic backdrop, the High Roller is your location. Soaring 550 feet above the center of the Las Vegas Strip, the High Roller is the world’s tallest observation wheel.

Or, take to the skies for a proposal or wedding package with Maverick Helicopters flying high over the Las Vegas Strip and desert landscape. You’ll have to keep the wedding party small since the helicopter can only hold the bride, groom and three guests.

Only in Vegas. Once upon a time (actually in 2018), a couple attending a Vegas Golden Knights’ hockey game at T-Mobile Arena got engaged and married by an Elvis impersonator during the game. It’s Las Vegas where anything is possible.  Start dreaming!
