Most people know of Las Vegas as “the entertainment capital of the world,” but over the last few years, the city has staked its claim on the map as a bona fide major league sports town. And among the professional teams drawing crowds and cheers is the WNBA Las Vegas Aces.

Since coming to Las Vegas in 2018, the Aces have established themselves as a powerhouse in professional women’s sports, drafting multiple No. 1 overall picks, making mega trades, boasting award-winning players, and three times coming close to nabbing the national championship.

This season, fans are looking forward to going all the way under the Aces new coach Becky Hammon, who comes to the Las Vegas from a stint as an assistant for the San Antonio Spurs.

You can catch an Ace’s home game this season at Michelob ULTRA Arena at Mandalay Bay! The Aces launched their season in May and will play a total of 18 home games throughout the summer with the last home game on August 14.  Among this season’s theme games are Kids Day & Shoe Drive, Pride Night, Title IX Night, Breast Health Awareness Night and Fan Appreciation Day.

“Women’s professional sports is finally taking its place as a top-of-mind attraction, especially here in Las Vegas,” said Shahn Douglas, chief marketing officer for DKLas Vegas, which owns Juhl, downtown Las Vegas’ luxury condominium community.  “Research has shown that playing sports is one of the most effective ways for girls and young women to experience leadership development and prepare to become the leaders of tomorrow,” she said. “Go, Aces!”
