Raider Nation, Gear Up
The NFL 2022 Season is Almost Here!
Allegiant Stadium will soon echo with chants of Raider Nation! So, if you haven’t gotten game tickets yet, get a move on. It’s going to be an exciting Raiders’ football season at Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium, which was just selected by NFL fans as the nation’s top stadium for the gameday experience.
The Las Vegas Raiders – under first-year head coach Josh McDaniels – will play their first preseason game on August 4 when they meet the Jacksonville Jaguars in the Hall of Fame Game in Canton, Ohio. The team’s first home game at Allegiant Stadium against the Minnesota Vikings is on August 14. The Raiders first regular season home game is September 18 when the Silver and Black meet the Arizona Cardinals.
Off-Season Additions
A lot has happened since last season, including the addition of receiver Davante Adams, considered the best receiver in the NFL. The team also hired a new head coach, Josh McDaniels, one of the game’s most accomplished offensive coordinators, and hired former New England Patriots director of player personnel Dave Ziegler as general manager.
For our hometown Raiders, this marks their third season playing home games at Allegiant Stadium. Quickly becoming known for star-studded fan attendance, celebrity-chef food selection, Vegas-style half-time shows, and of course great football, Raiders’ 2022 home games include matchups against division rivals Denver Broncos, Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Chargers. Also meeting the Raiders on their home turf are the Houston Texans, Indianapolis Colts, New England Patriots and San Francisco 49ers.

Bold prediction: Carr silences his haters — real and imagined — and, buoyed by the presence of Adams, plays like the elder statesman he is among AFC West quarterbacks and excels in new coach Josh McDaniels’ system to carry the Raiders to a second straight playoff appearance. Derek Carr leads the league in passing yards: Fresh off a fantastic season that saw him flirt with 5,000 yards, Carr is going to absolutely sizzle in 2022 under offensive guru Josh McDaniels. Especially now that he’s playing with his bestie, Davante Adams.
Davante Adams will post more than 1,200 yards and 10 touchdowns. The Raiders’ import will have a fine first season in Las Vegas, enjoying the trappings of a Josh McDaniels system that gets him the ball with space to run.
