Las Vegas Named One of the Best Dating Cities

Apparently, the old real estate saying – location, location, location – is also applicable to dating. There are good cities for meeting people and dating, and then there are the “you have a better chance winning Megabucks or Powerball” cities.

Thanks to the people at From Mars, who crunched the data, we now know that Las Vegas is in the top ten cities for dating and has more nightlife venues than any other city on the list except for New York!  And seriously, everyone knows Vegas is far more fun!

Where Dating Begins

Downtown Las Vegas, which if you haven’t been paying attention over the last few years, has become a hot spot for singles to mix, mingle or just hang out. This is especially true since millennials and Gen Zs have opted for the urban lifestyle and scooped up downtown condos like those at the popular loft-style Juhl condominium community which spans an entire city block.

Foursquare City Guide’s “15 Best Places That Are Good for Singles in Las Vegas” zeros in on a number of downtown Las Vegas venues like Velveteen Rabbit and ReBar in the Arts District and VegeNation on Carson Ave. Of course, let’s not forget about spots like Sin City Seafood in the Promenade at Juhl.

Romantic Dinner

Date night romance can be a real art, but a few downtown Las Vegas restaurants do it right! The 12 Most Romantic Restaurants in Las Vegas suggests Barry’s Downtown Prime at Circa which “oozes vintage glam.” Be sure to reserve a table in the Garden Room with lighted olive trees.  Want something a little less old-school? Check out Park on Fremont plus a creative group of up-and-coming eateries like Taverna Costera with an amazing roof top music venue for dancing in the Arts District.

The Time Has Come for Sunday Brunch

There’s no shortage of places in Las Vegas to linger over a delicious brunch. And if you’re lucky enough to live downtown your relaxing Sunday brunch is just a cozy stroll away. A must are the insanely fluffy pancakes at eat. on E. Carson.  Or maybe just grab something healthy at Greens & Proteins in the Promenade at Juhl.
