A GUIDE TO DOWNTOWN LAS VEGAS BREWERIES

Brewery Row in the Arts District in downtown Las Vegas is booming with a selection of craft breweries

Living in an epic condo community like Juhl on Bonneville Ave. in downtown Las Vegas definitely has an abundance of perks! And one of those bonuses that makes life all that much sweeter is its proximity to the Arts District and its burgeoning Brewery Row, which is fast gaining a reputation as a craft beer mecca in the southwestern United States.

For those who live downtown, brewery-crawls have become a regular weekend activity for enjoying a cold one straight from the tap and fascinating conversations with Brewery Row’s brew masters.

And why not? After all, as the owner of CraftHaus Brewery put it: “Beer is art in liquid form.”

Enjoy this guide to Brewery Row in the downtown Las Vegas’ Arts District and just a few of the best brews in the city.

Brewery Row Downtown Las Vegas

Hop Nuts Brewing

Hop Nuts Brewing specializes in hop-driven beers plus a variety of blonde and pale ales and specialty tap beers like Razz Belgian Pale Ale brewed with fresh raspberries.

Able Baker Brewing

Named after Able and Baker, the first two atomic bombs detonated at the Nevada Test Site in 1946, Able Baker Brewing pays homage to the Atomic Age with their signature beer, a citrus-forward IPA cleverly named Atomic Duck. As the story goes, a duck was the only animal to survive the blasts. Also check out this brewery’s pub favorite Vertical Smoke Trails, a Scottish-style ale with cherrywood- and mesquite-smoked malt.

CraftHaus Bewery

CraftHaus Brewery’s Bavaria’s craft beer offers a rotating selection of two dozen seasonal beers, including lagers, sours, and IPAs including the Czech Plz, a crisp, unfiltered pilsner made only with ingredients sourced from Prague and served in a dimple mug.

HUDL Brewing Company

HUDL Brewing Company offers 11 of its own beers on tap including stouts, IPAs, cream ales, and fruit beers. Tempt your taste buds with the Vanilla Oak Cream Ale, a staple on the evolving beer menu, or try a pint of the High Hatter Hefe on Pineapple, a traditional German hefeweizen with a Hawaiian twist.

Nevada Brew Works

Nevada Brew Works is the perfect place to relax on the dog-friendly patio with an Irish red, Hefeweizen or oatmeal stout brewed on site.

Beer District Brewing

There’s nothing like a clean German lager to accompany a competitive game of trivia at Beer District Brewing. Treat yourself to some top-sellers like Captain Haze, a New England–style IPA with mosaic, Citra, and sabro hops or the CocoNillaCan, an imperial stout made with toasted coconut, roasted pecans, and 200 Madagascar vanilla beans.

Banger Brewing

While this brewery is not in Brewery Row, it’s close by and definitely worth a mention. Located on Fremont St., Banger Brewing was founded by five friends who bonded over good beer. It’s the perfect place to wet your whistle with the unusual including American Pale Ale, Jalapeno Hefeweizen and Watermelon Wheat to name a few. Head on over for trivia or bingo night.

Stepping out for a pint has never been more enjoyable, especially if you live within walking distance of downtown Las Vegas’ Brewery Row in the Arts District.
