Grab your cowboy boots and Stetson hat, it’s time for the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo! For 10 days in December, rodeo fans from around the world take over Las Vegas for the thrills, spills and the most exciting rodeo action in the sport – plus so much more. Known as the Super Bowl of rodeo and one of the biggest and most popular events in the city, the ten-day competition starts Thursday Dec. 1 at the Thomas & Mack Center and wraps up on Saturday, Dec. 10.

Since 1985, Las Vegas has played host to this premier championship rodeo event that attracts top contestants in bareback riding, steer wrestling, team roping, saddle bronc riding, tie-down roping, barrel racing and bull riding.

“It’s so much fun to watch as the entire city takes on a cowboy vibe,” said Shahn Douglas, chief marketing officer for DK Las Vegas, which owns Juhl, the modern loft-style high-rise condominium community in downtown Las Vegas. “Having world-class events and entertainment like the NFR minutes from our front doors is truly one of the best perks of living in Las Vegas.”
